The car cleans up good. Shame that it only stays clean for a little bit in the winter. How goes it for everyone else?

Well, I finished fixing the heater in my ‘66 Thunderbird so winter driving would be bearable, only for it to break down. Two weeks of utter confusion later, me and a family friend discover that the source of the problem is twofold: 1, the connections on the battery were too loose, which prevented it from turning over fast enough, and 2, I’m a moron who doesn’t know how to start classic cars in the cold. Those two problems were easy enough to fix, but then the engine was flooded which meant cleaning the spark plugs, and now it finally runs but a malfunctioning vacuum valve means that it stalls every time I decelerate. Hopefully, though, once I replace the vacuum valve,  it should be roadworthy again soon.

The weather in the midwest US has been a little wet, windy and just above freezing, which can get a bit severe even for a hardy soul.

I think the last time I washed the truck was in march.
